Under The Sea Project
Posted in General News
As part of the ‘Under The Sea’ curriculum project, Upper School children visited The London Aquarium. The sting ray fish and large sharks were obviously the most memorable fish, mainly because of their sharp teeth!
During the Spring term, Upper School learnt about endangered sea turtles, particularly focussing on the marine conservation project in Cyprus. the children’s sustained interest in the project led us to sponsor a turtle in Greece, who the children decided to name ‘Millie’. The children were able to track Millie on line, which was very exciting.
Their fund raising efforts also managed to raise a colossal £156.39!
We all thought it was very funny when Ms Christine dressed up in her turtle costume!
Well Done Upper School!
